The main attraction is unique wines, born thanks to their own grape production on over 60 hectares of vineyards. Have you been to tuff cellars yet? If not, do not miss the visit of Chateau GRAND BARI in Veľká Bar. Where the unmistakable Tokaji wine ages. These cellars still remember Tatar invasions full of cruelty. But as the end justifies the means, it was these volcanic hideaways that later offered great conditions for winegrowers to age the beneficial liquor. The stable temperature and humidity in the cavernous maze of old corridors meet the demands of a perfect wine aging environment. The visitors can see hundreds of meters of traditional tuff cellars and the Tokaji exposition with an original grape press from 1873. You can choose among bronze, silver, gold and platinum tours and include a variety of tastings, which can be tailored to special private degustations. The local restaurant won’t disappoint you as well – they have an excellent menu for every visitor. The priority is to offer a dish matching the Tokaji wine.

Recently, it has been said that drinking Tokaji vino has become a matter of prestige in elite groups.  At Chateau GRAND BARI  they have a different opinion as they sincerely welcome every visitor: “We like to offer our wine to everyone. We appreciate the opinion of all clients. We do not make any difference between them. We offer experience dinners and soirée for companies and closed groups. We have great experience in preparing a tasting menu, as well as various team buildings and other events,” says Pavol Krištín – marketing and PR manager. “We are interested in the development of rural tourism, we offer congresses, we would also like to contribute to employment in the region. Winery with such potential as ours can significantly help the region,” adds Krištín.
