New Range of LG TVs
Since July, LG Electronics has launched its latest line: LG QNED Mini LED LCD TVs. These innovations use a combination of state-of-the-art Quantum Dot NanoCell and Mini LED backlight technologies – creating a better viewing experience with deeper blacks, more accurate color reproduction with higher contrast and brightness. The wide viewing angle eliminates color distortions. The offer consists of the QNED99 and QNED96 series with 8K resolution and the QNED91 series with 4K resolution. You can choose from 65 inches to 86 inches screens.
The Japanese manufacturer Sony introduced a novelty called the HT-A7000. In this case, it is a 7.1 channel soundbar with Dolby Atmos technology. It is equipped with a pair of speakers creating sound within Dolby Atmos, two tweeters, and a base for the front speakers. There is no dual subwoofer, but it is recommended to use a separate 300 W wireless subwoofer. There are two HDMI 2.1 ports; the system can adjust the sound through the Sony microphone.

Gamers will enjoy the new curved Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor, which is enriched with Quantum mini-LED technology compared to its predecessor. It boasts high brightness, the image quality is supported by HDR 10+ and the contrast ratio is 1 000 000: 1. The 240 Hz refreshing frequency, the technological equipment, including AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync from NVIDIA, will guarantee smooth gameplay. The monitor costs 2,500 USD.
New Features for Movie Buffs
Canon Europe introduces a firmware update for the EOS R5, EOS R6 (firmware v1.4), and EOS-1D X Mark III (firmware v1.5). The latest updates respond to user feedback and allow you to record professional videos. The new firmware deploys the much-needed Canon Log 3 (C-Log 3) gamma curve, which was already available on the EOS R5, and will now also be available for the EOS R6 and EOS-ID X Mark III. The curve expands the dynamic range and offers a broader range of options for working with color space to achieve exceptional video quality, equivalent to Hollywood-standard film cameras. At the same time, the compatibility of these models with cinematographic production processes is improved, and it is easier to match the color with the recording from the Canon Cinema EOS series cameras. Firmware updates also bring simplified video processing workflows and compatibility with cinema products. Audiovisual content creation takes it to a new level.
Producers are struggling with a chip shortage; the situation should return to normal in 2022. Nevertheless, the new Sony PlayStation 5 has been selling well since November 2020. It has sold 10 million, surpassing the previous model when comparing sales.
