Nevertheless, the most comprehensive insight into their latest innovations is provided by trade fairs and exhibitions. The good news is that these events are still thriving, despite extensive electronic communication. Let’s take a look at some new products in this field.

Chinese manufacturer Hisense has introduced a new PX2-Pro laser projector. It is equipped with the TriChroma system, utilizing three lasers, and offers an ultra-short projection distance. The luminous flux reaches 2400 lumens, with a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1. The operating system is Google TV, and it boasts UHD 4K (3840 x 2160 px) resolution. The projector supports HDR modes like Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The speakers deliver 30 W of sound output, with Dolby Atmos as the standard. At an ultra-short projection distance of 60 cm, the diagonal projection size is 254 cm, and the laser units have a lifespan of up to 25,000 hours, according to the manufacturer.

In addition to the standard Xiaomi 14 smartphone, Xiaomi has introduced the higher-tier Xiaomi 14 Pro series. It features a 6.73″ OLED display, new HyperOS software, and a Leica Summilux lens. The flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor takes the spotlight. You can choose up to 16GB of memory and 256/512/1TB of internal storage. It offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz, brightness at 3000 nits, and incorporates technologies like Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid. Xiaomi 14 Pro utilizes Leica lenses, with a main sensor boasting 50 Mpx resolution and new Summilux technology that increases light sensitivity by up to 180%, ensuring high image quality. It features a 50MP wide-angle sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens, with the front camera positioned at the top center. The new model can be seamlessly connected to other devices and includes AI-supported smart home control.

Sophisticated Control

The Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 smartwatches have received watchOS 10.1, along with a tapping gesture via an index finger and thumb. These new gestures significantly expand the control of various functions, such as answering and making phone calls, browsing messages, managing the stopwatch, and controlling music playback, podcasts, and audiobooks, among other features. The S9 SiP chip ensures smooth execution of these gestures. Notably, the 4-core Neural Engine can handle demanding machine learning tasks twice as fast. WatchOS 10.1 is available for Apple Watch Series 4 and later, requiring an iPhone Xs running iOS 17 or later.

First 3D Display Without Glasses

Asus has introduced an innovation that deserves attention. Thanks to Asus Spatial Vision technology, the Asus Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED laptop offers a glasses-free 3D viewing experience. It employs lenticular lenses and advanced eye tracking to create distinct images for each eye, resulting in an autostereoscopic 3D display. The 3D display boasts a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, a rapid 0.2ms response time, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
