Distinctive Design

The German company Loewe presented six top OLED 42″ to 83″ TVs. A diamond-cut aluminum frame, a partially concrete rear shell, or an adjustable silver magic light LED strip (used as a welcome or mood lighting) contribute to the distinctive design. The resolution of OLED panels from LG Display is 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K UHD). The features also include support for HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, Loewe OS9 operating system (based on Samsung Tizen), digital tuner, Loewe dr+ with 2-channel chassis, 1TB internal SSD memory, or four HDMI 2.1 inputs.

FiiO introduced the FH19 premium semi-open hybrid in-ear headphones. They have two dynamic drivers and six Balanced Armature drivers. Completely new double 2x Push-pull dual drivers are used for clean bass delivery, and 6 Knowles Balanced Armature drivers cover medium and high tones. The patented FiiO S.Turbo technology uses the shape of the headphone body to support low frequencies. The frequency range is 8 Hz to 40 kHz, impedance 16 Ω, and sensitivity 109 dB.

The Chinese Xiaomi introduced its first foldable (“clamshell”) Xiaomi Mix Flip smartphone. The outer 4.01-inch AMOLED display (1392 x 1208 pixels) uses Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support, and the ability to display up to 68 billion color shades. The refresh rate is 120 Hz, and the brightness is up to 3000 nits. The open smartphone provides a 6.86-inch AMOLED display (1224 x 2912 pixels), the frequency is again 120 Hz, and the brightness is 3000 nits. The heart is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, fast 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB storage, or 12 GB or 16 GB operating memory are available. The novelty has two rear lenses – a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, while the selfie camera has a 32-megapixel resolution. The battery has 5000 mAh.

Norwegian manufacturer Hegel recently introduced the high-end integrated amplifier H400, which also serves as a streaming device. The two-channel amplifier with improved DAC provides 250 W per channel at a load of 8 Ω. Thanks to its own SoundEngine 2 technology, the resulting sound is full of details and delicate micro-dynamics. The frequency range is 5Hz to 180kHz, and the signal-to-noise ratio is over 100. The device supports various streaming services and has a wide range of inputs and outputs for subwoofers or separate power amplifiers. The new device is decorated with the Eisa Award 2024-2025 in the Premium Streaming Amplifier category.
