We have prepared some news for the players of the 10th anniversary of the GOLF CHALLENGE tournament series.
The first is that the route will have new, or more precisely, modified categories. Seniors should pay more attention because the C category is canceled and replaced by a category specifically designed for them.
This year we decided to add one beautiful golf course close to Nitra, and therefore the penultimate round will take place on the RED OAK Nitra course. Of course, there are also traditional golf courses such as Welten club in Báč and Green Resort Hrubá Borša. All three courses have something to offer not only in terms of quality but also service and with it, an excellent cuisine.
The first round starts on Saturday, May 11th! Due to starting from holes no. 1 and 10 we don’t want to create “jams” and too much waiting, so the maximum number of players in each tournament will be set to 96.
Interesting Prizes for the Overall Winners
Also this year — almost as usually — we compete for a golf stay from the Costa Golf travel agency. The overall winners of each category will have the opportunity to play on the beautiful courses a short distance from Malaga’s La Cala Golf Resort. Players have learned all the information and rules, or the evaluating system for the overall winners on our FB page CHALLENGE 2019, as well as the SKGA server tournaments.
Children’s Day in Hrubá Borša
Another news is that the 6th year of Children’s Day will premiere at the Green Resort Hrubá Borša, where children and mothers will find entertainment during the golf tournament. This tournament takes place on Sunday, June 2nd. The children who play golf will have the opportunity to challenge themselves at the “public nine” where we prepare a free tournament for them in cooperation with the course.
Another exciting program is prepared for so-called “non-golf” children. Talostan magician will put a smile on the children’s faces; there will be face painting and also workshops, bouncy castle, bubble blower, golf trainers and dance performances by EsDance.
The program will last from 10:00 to 14:30 and all the attractions for children are free! There is also a program for non-golfers or beginning golfers and, of course, mothers.
The general partner of the children’s day will be the Lučivná Tatras Spa.
The typical raffle will support Babie leto
We were intrigued by the charity project “Babie leto,” which aims to help Slovak people at the end of their lives, either financially or by other means of assistance. That is why this year’s raffle raise will go to support it.
